Just a taster of my Ocean 6.25M RIB

I'm hoping to get some action shots

this summer, along with some images of the

newly repainted transom and other 'tidied up' areas.

Brought as a rough and abused hull with an older outboard,

she has now been completely gutted and re-built by myself.

 

Hull/Tubes

1996. Ocean 6.25M RIB manufactured by Windsor Brothers Marine.

Yellow Hypalon Tubes, in 5 separated compartments.

Inflation valves and separate over pressure relief valves.

Yellow Hull with Deep-Vee at Bow tapering to oval stern.

350 Gph Bilge Sump at stern.

Transom raised 100mm to mount Ultra long Shaft Outboard engine.

Grab ropes/lifelines to outside of each tube.

Grey Hypalon wear patches applied to top surfaces of tubes.

4 moulded Black mooring cleats mounted on tubes

Black Rubbing strake to outside of tubes.

Paddle straps mounted on inside edge of tubes with Velcro fastenings.

Anchor locker in Bow, with Latched hatch cover.

Main under deck hull void sealed with latched hatch.

30 Gallon under deck Fuel tank with top mounted gauge sender unit.

Fuel filler/breather in rear of Port side Jockey seat. Priming Bulb inside

Access hatch to fuel gauge sender unit.
Twin two man Jockey seats with storage under and Stainless steel backrests.
Rear bench seat with storage underneath.

Enclosed Transom.

Access hatch in Transom cover over Bilge sump.

Double width Consol with Lockable Glove compartment, and large main locker.

Grab handles on all consol sides.

Smoked Perspex windscreen with large ‘No Fear’ Eyes in White.

4” under deck trunking from console to stern.

Stainless Steel Sampson post in Bow.

Twin Tube Stainless Steel A-frame.

Stainless Steel fold down Transom ladder narrowed by 2.5 inches.

Twin Elephants trunk rapid deck clearing outlets.

1997 Ultra Long(25”) Shaft SUZUKI DT200 EFI. 2.7 Litre V6 Fuel Injected 2-Stroke.

Trim/Tilt, Low rev re-set and flush point built into engine tray.

Spark Plugs - NGK BR8HS 10

Propeller – Suzuki Stainless Steel 14,1/4”Dia x 22”Pitch. Plus spare Piranha 4-bladed plastic component prop of same size.

15mm Aluminium Transom/Jack plate.

100mm x 50mm Ali box section filler, 6mm Ali inner transom plate.

Suzuki Surface mount single control lever mounted centrally in consol,

Trim/Tilt switch in lever.

Water separating fuel filter with drain in glass bowl.

Instrumentation.

Ignition Switch and ‘Helm Overboard’ kill switch mounted in Fabricated panel

Fabricated Dashboard insert, including Instrumentation and control switches.

Farina Rev Counter, Fuel gauge and Volt meter.

Suzuki Oil level indicator and Overheat warning.

Hydraulic Steering of multiple origin - helm pump, hoses and front mounted ram on fabricated mounts.

Boat jumble steering wheel now wrapped in yellow bicycle handlebar tape.

Batteries - 1 x 110AH plus 1 x 140AH Switched OFF/1/2/BOTH

360Gph Bilge pump.

Icom 7100 VHF Radio.

A Frame mounted Arial.

Plastimo compass

Garmin 176C GPS Plotter

Garmin 240 Blue Fishfinder and transom mounted transducer.

Navigation lights fitted to A-Frame.

Anchor Light fitted to top of A-frame.

Canoe paddles.

15Kg Spade Anchor with 5M of Chain and 30M of 12mm warp.

 

 

Trailer

Indespension ‘Rollercoaster 7’ converted to twin axles using 2 x 1300Kg axles

Converted to Knott hitch unit.

5 Studs on 6” PCD

185 R14 8 Ply tyres

Drum Brakes with handbrake.

Spare wheel mounted on fabricated bracket.

All-over winter cover

MP3 Player, in-console amplifier and speakers.
